Shroud Of Light

Written for the group Shades Of Light.

Shadow Angels cut through the wall separating Heaven and Earth
the dawning day of mending light to our lives had been given birth
the soothing breeze of angels hearts lifted each shadow born of plight
we felt the caress of sweet beauty eclipse the hollow of night
black ills of the body swept into the lost past, throughout wings of life
countless plagues upon the flesh and soul severed as was the rage of strife
Since that dawn of light upon the dark of our lives we've been shrouded by angels wings
we remember lost yesterday wrapped in the knowledge of divine caring to sing

Author's Note

The name Shadow Angels refers to the angels ability to be involved in every aspect of our welfare.
