Gorge JourneyA Poem by Eric CoxA trip through the Columbia River Gorge to the Washington state Stonehenge replica.Roads stretching on through the fire leaves among wild lush trees
caught in the soothing caress of a cool Autumn breeze past the grand ivory beauty of majestic Mount Hood on through the rolling hills of the Gorge specked with vibrant wood we pause in the sweeping beauty of a park shrouded in majestic views good eats next to the mirror spun river as the spirit of light hearts brew onto the valley path of cars and across the grand crystal river ascending the towering hills, azure sky stretching on forever the mirror image of Stonehenge looms, not one crumbling vacant stone wandering the towering columns dedicated to heroes lifted home in the distance descending rolling cliffs end in a majestic river cut through roll on Columbia, let freeze the sweet breeze of wild beauty God drew a journey when our spirits craved the soothing caress of the breeze of the road wandering through nature's eternal majesty, her sweet echo to never erode © 2012 Eric CoxFeatured Review
