Blood Wolves Born Of SnowA Poem by Eric CoxWritten for the contest: "The Fanged Ones".Flesh to bleed, she and I prowl within the crypt of night
blood creatures longing for the magic of Northern Lights a fortune at long last gathers and up north we escape acres of Alaskan land and a cozy log home drape Snowflakes twirl upon the breeze and shroud the forest wild tracking prey as wolf at lightning pace, our blood fury riled we sink our fangs and siphon bare the elk we sought blood bent veins soothed we romp in the snow aglow with Auroras God sent our hearts sing beneath the magic of enchanting colors alight endless streams of stars shimmer and the Wolf Moon is shining frost white She and I, hearts entwined through eternity, bound in magic aglow our souls cry out a sweet song of fantasy, two blood wolves born of snow © 2012 Eric CoxFeatured Review
