a haunting desire

I can hear your heart beat

I long for you to be as me

together for all eternity.

I have tasted your blood

A very well written vampire poem without actually having to say it is a vampire in the poem. Very seductive and romantic. Who could resist the voice of this vampire calling out into the dark sultry night? I couldn't. This is one amazing poem.
