fifteen percent of nothing

fifteen percent of nothing

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

fifteen percent of nothing

you paid me lip service

but with an insulting tip

was better when you just kissed me

without the gratuitous promises

"nothing from nothing leaves nothing", I think it was a Billy Preston song from back in the day... but his song was snappy and more an invite if I remember correctly... your poem is more a leave me the F alone no tips and no lip service (or is that just no lip)... I am better without you... your words, like a very sharp sword strikes deep...
