Sounds like young lusty love between two willing teenagers in their denim jeans out to experiment and enjoy the thrill of getting carried away before the guilt sets in. Buttons and zippers and much fumbling here. That takes me back :) Well done Jacob.
Reads like "sin-dication" J. I see two youngsters, or maybe a random hookup, each saying whatever needs said to get past the denim. No matter the players or the place, someone will likely regret unzipping and shedding their pride. Maybe? :)

very insightful...thank you for your words, R.E.

'there is love behind the denim smile' ... amazing. Mustn't this thought cross everyone's mind at some stage in the romantic games and dances? Especially at early stages, perhaps more importantly at later stages. Big fan of this one. I love the sense of danger and uncertainty yet it's all happening anyway as if there's no control, or perhaps surrender to it...
This takes me back to the uncertainties of young love as we toy with it but feel timid at the same time, feel almost apologetic for feeling stimulated even though we hope in those eyes is a mutual friend. And as you withdraw tail between your legs she summons you and brings you to heel.
