for a fabled lover
who disabled my heart
by proxy
of a prophecy

I love this. This is a great example of "less is more" . . . this is packed with wordplay delights, as well as hidden meanings (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

And tenement halls"
There are myths and fables … prophets … and I have heard of death by proxy … but I don't think I've ever seen all bundled into the same fabulous bit of poetry.

Well written j.
