so can relate my friend ... she told me from the start our "relationship" would not end well ... far too one sided ;} how we do take what we can get when fallen fast and furious .. the mere pittance seems a brilliant diamond ... peace brother!

I got overdrawn when she lost interest. Now i have nowhere to put my deposits. But its okay, she repossessed everything else, so why not the heart too.
Those memories dont always feel like the deleted scenes from platoon... Just the first few years.

thank you for your clever, metaphorical review, Lorry,

Oh my, is a tiny slice of love worth a bucket load of heartache? Once upon a time I might have said yes, nowadays I think I'd give it a miss :)) That's me, most people would still settle for a tiny slice of love, and some poor souls would be content with a miserly few crumbs to have some memories to look back on. I am reminded of that old saying. 'it's better to have loved and lost than never loved at all.' Or there's another one, 'What you have never had you will never miss'. Guess we can take our pick.
