fell off sleep

and landed on awake

realistic alarm sounded

idealistic finger hit the off button

 

went back to sleep.

It's no bed of roses when you wake suddenly from dreamland, realise it's a false start and then try and go back to sleep. That rarely happens for me. Once awake, I'm likely to stay awake.

Your title gave me some beautiful imagery of white sheets and bliss, red rose petals and sweet scent.

Here I am again, sleep disturbed :))
