A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

in the credits

rare access,

a slight smile crossed the screen of your eyes

i was reflected in the projection

we embraced,

in thought

the movie ended

i walked away from you

feeling like much more than

just an extra...

A smile, a glance much more than an Oscar. A nice piece of writing J.

Eye to eye contact that penetrated deeply. What a lift that can give you when that happens, even if it doesn't happen again. I can see this scenario being played out quite clearly. A lovely moment.

Sometimes a look can communicate more than an embrace. I am left wondering whether anything eventually came of it.
