frozen tundra meets the Bermuda Triangle

frozen tundra meets the Bermuda Triangle

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

frozen tundra meets the Bermuda Triangle

it's ninety degrees outside

but below zero in my heart

deep freeze,

contains, retains

obtains

a softening

a reckoning

a defrosting

it can move again

beat again

but also get devoured again

and eventually

disappear

freezer burns and all.

it's a bit like a black hole that just disappears in itself as if it were never there....

so true, Stella...thank you for your visit,
j.
The mystery of love and the Permuda triangle are unfolded in your words. The danger of disappearance is so real. Ships go unnoticed off radars, even planes. Love has that effect as your marvelously portray. Kudos, sir.

You are welcome sir Jacob...
I liked the rhyming and staccato lines. The heart can be broken and repaired many times.....sometimes too often if you ask me. We all search for love and even after losing it painfully, we go after it again. Good one. Lydi**
