i am here to do a reading

is that a script or your poem

life indulges our muse

 

i've rehearsed my interpretation

yet it sounds different

with each theme posited

 

in the pages of you

i want so much to understand

otherwise...

 

 

the version i'm inflecting

will inflict confusion

as the stage lights go down

 

and the curtain curtails

a second act.

This could be an anthem to both my reviewing and my private life Jacob.
Contemplating all the angles, i read and re-read the situation, finally conclusion arrives and i extrapolate my definition and meaning, post or say it, then three days later realise that it may not have been about what i said or thought and was most likely just someone saying hello... Or more likely goodbye 😀

I am thinking, do we ever truly know another? Our relationships with others are unique. Your understanding of one person, may be entirely different to mine. Your reading of another is special. We are different things to different people. That doesn't mean we are wrong. My Robbie says I am glue. The glue that binds the family together. His brother will tell you I am his banker and personal adviser. My granddaughter thinks I am a Goddess:)) I am happy to be all of those things. This little poem got my brain cells ticking over .maybe we are all actors on the stage. You sent me on a journey Jacob and I enjoyed the ride.

I have found on several occasions throughout life (my life to date) that there is always someone waiting to take ya place standing just off stage and somewhere in the shadows …

I may have got it all wrong but hey.. it has been a very long day...
