Jacob just love your first two verses
Excellent poem for what’s happening these last few months especially
One day when hopefully this is all over we can look back and see just how disrupted our lives became and the death The tragic deaths the unemployment the restrictions etc etc the economy
Hopefully it’ll never happen again

Yes and I watch the USA and uk news from here either bbc or fox I think
Sounds like Joe Biden.
In the end, of course, we're all crow-bait.
Not only do dogs take us out for walks, we've become their own very personal valets.
BM picker-uppers.
Your poem, Jacob, is a bummer of a song, flawlessly sung.
I was just thinking along similar lines Jacob, as my notebook spills the entire contents of my mind, with the 3 words eat, sleep, repeat.
Your poor pooch must be picking up on the spooky vibe of wondering where all his playmates are and what happened to their pet humans too.
Glad you mentioned those birds. Have noticed myself how they no longer are wary of us. They definitely know something. The way they're looking at us these days is a bit eerie.

Maybe we'll outlast the crows. Who knows? In the great depression I heard that people used to wait for crows to roost at night and then bomb the trees for meat. I don't know if that's where the term, "Let them eat crow" comes from but I think I'd pass on on that particular delicacy. :) I enjoyed the read, Bless. F.
