Becoming

Becoming

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

Becoming

pretty little arrival

wrapped in baggie clothes

Zip Lock ties

binding conscience

a possible anyone

                                                   becomes

a discarded someone

How easy it is to bring life into the world only to abandon it ... happens all too often I'm afraid and even worse are those who decide a plastic bag is the proper way to dispose of the child. Shameful really.

A good message j.
