One word may become the foundation for the tree of knowledge where growth brings branches new to be travelled. But do these paths have to have meaning maybe some are just for fun.
One word at a time....that is how a poem is written. So like a journey of one step at a time. A word sparks our mind and the poem is off and running. Sometimes the destination is the circular file, but more often it is a good poem....like this one. lydi**
I thought of all the whims I have had. I thought of all the first lines I wrote. I am thankful for the poems I managed to complete. Many words were abandoned on the journey.
