I've read a few of your newest short poems. I won't comment on how they say much with few words, as others have already noted that. What they made me think of is that one of the tasks of poetry and the poet is to name things - or rather internal processes, feelings that often remain unnamed, lurking just below the threshold of awareness. Once they are named, they might be studied, observed, and understood. Your poems do just that.

this very much reminds me of what thoreau wrote, “all good things are wild and free.” and "Happiness is like a butterfly, the more you chase it, the more it will elude, but if you turn your attention to other things, it will come and sit softly on your shoulder." there is order in chaos and the unexpected. it doesn't take many words to say a lot. after all, rules were made to be broken.
liked the fractured mind and sieve ... :)

as I sat, suddenly a butterfly lit right on my shoulder...so Thoreau is definitely right.
Thank you for your words, Pete,

Choosing that way of life is quite fun... Isn't it? Why should we always follow the rules.... And sometimes irresponsibility gives abundance of possibility

My fractured body & able mind sifts thru what pours forth (so much structured meaningful poetry on these cafe pages) . . . how can I resist being irresponsible? (throwing down funny rhyming rubbish with an abundance of adverbs & adjectives to snap serious blokes from their stuffy propriety). In short, I sprint toward irrelevance (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
