I love when poems are told like a short letter unfolding, a person to write to and an idea to convey- always with a personal touch. This idea of space, stars, uncertain universe; the beyond- a scary place but not in the way you wrote it. It sounds like a place we fade into, not a place we are thrown into. Oh my, you got the mom thing buttoned up. That's me as well. Fussing around making everything tidy, putting things in their rightful place :) This little poem is endearing. I bet she would smile.
As a growing boy with a dotting mother, I cannot help but chuckle as I see her still scolding me on occasion to keep my room squeaky clean. Thank you, Sir! Very relatable, hahahaha!
