I see

I see

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

I see

blue petunia sunlight

leaning towards the coming moon

darkest December

a balmy begonia ripple

there is spring in the blizzard of your smile

With the help of poetry, music and love, this is exactly how we should deal with our blackest days..

In the darkness of December, thoughts of spring give us hope when we are surrounded by bleakness and cold. The description here is exquisite J.

Then you see with very unique and lovingly descriptive eyes, Jacob. For some reason we are always looking ahead to the coming of spring and it invokes such feelings of hope and refreshment. Beautiful description here. Well written, as always. ⚘

Light in darkness, darkness in light... Yin and yang. Folks say it's too soon to think if Spring. So why do colleges call it spring semester?
You use contrast so well. Call me weird but I see hope here. Winter doesn't hang on forever. Nicely written, Sir.

The two stanzas read like 2 separate poems but your 2nd half of the poem does a nice job of giving new meaning to old words or recreating the english canon. I've never read the interplay of words like blizzard and smile.
