Monsters with no love for the value of theirs or other lives lurk on the same corners where buskers and steel drummers mask the cacophony of a city whose commerce slowly dies. Your poems are like Big Little books if you remember them. Big story in a little package

At least one hopes the monsters are stamped out. But sometimes the monster eats the band. Yum! Lol!
Actually, being loud and proud is often the best defense against injustice. That's my takeaway. Just some thoughts from a half educated hillbilly.
