(letting the weeds in gnarly rule overtake the gentle purpose of freedom's wing.) The closure to this write gives the read much to think about...what a punch! ~Sharon

that situation concerns me greatly...

The last days... Already, the air sizzles with the fires of a war that will be the last. And I don't have enough tears left. Only anger, and that little more then a cold cinder. For eagle feathers have turned to ash.
Makes you wonder as to how this will end and what Putin will gain as the whole world turns its back on him. Methinks his generals need to do a " Brutus" on him and with March now here what better time.
Good morning Jacob, Hope all is well stateside

the Ides are coming...
maybe for him...maybe
thank you, Gee,
j.
yes, that says it all, heartbreaking, I am still stuck in the thought these are first world countries. seeing total destruction in a metropolis of innocent civilians, it boggles my mind, it's lunacy, delusional and the two things together are terrifying. we are better than this, his own people are better than him. No one was saying to him you have to live as we do, in a democratic society, he was living just fine in his little world but wants the whole world at the expense of all and everyone else! My God when will this insanity end? Sorry, I am tired of it and just hate to see the suffering and destruction. It's in my nature to save lives and I can't handle watching so many lose theirs. Wonderful poem, it raises the passions and that's what it is all about so well done j!

It all sickens me...thank you for your understanding review, Patricia,

Well, you have described what Putin's aim is; plant his weeds in our lovely garden and corrupt it forever; but we are doing our best to repel his advances and keep control of our own patch. Many here agree with your onlookers line. The endless supply of sanctions is not really gaining much support. It just seems to us like many are just watching, waiting and driving on by. I appreciate the feeling you have placed behind your words here, Jacob. ❤
