Wave

Wave

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

Wave

there is a deep gap

in the mountains bewitching

angry expression

twice the barren rock

a hardened heart bewitching

smile's extraction

expanded rainfall

a deep gap lie bewitching

a love’s extinction

Powerful opening stanza, love the description in this, each line is strong on their own and extinct love, are kidding me, that was so definite, final and hopeless, gave me chills. I don’t know why this doesn’t have an overwhelming amount of views and reviews, this is probably one of the most powerful poems I have read in a while.

your welcome Cilberto, :D love you, love me do...:D
Are you channeling the beats again? :)
Love's extinction... A sad thought and entirely too possible. By the way, if I ever heard you read this out loud, would you be thumping a bongo? 😆

Love's extinction is incredibly sad. Like the dinosaur never to return. Waving goodbye certainly likely to cause expanded rainfall. Felt my heart spiral downwards reading this little poem.
