A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

exposed

stripped naked

by words I cannot control

they undress me

with metaphor

to the bare skin synonyms

that all denote love

no matter the verbalization's

voyeurism

the muse in vicious smile

turns her head away

eyes fear perception

she regrets the advance.
