Utterly brilliant. That's pretty much what I thought watching a reporter talk to a woman in the middle of the crisis in Ukraine. I was like, "You don't actually care at all. You just care about your story."

A scab is just a cover up or just protects so I interpret this write as both sinister ie insincere but on the other hand offers condolences. Depends whether philanthropic words do offer help. I’m probably off the beaten track but I like it.
