I really like this! It truly reflects the difficulty in writing a poem and finding the right words. It can be a struggle at times. Thanks again for a great poem!
This poem is amazing and truly describes the hardships of writing poems and how important it is to choose your words wisely it is amazing and the word choice is immaculate I love the poem and you should be a professional poet
We each have our own style and manner of writing. Some more creative than others, but we each have a voice, and something worth saying. Whether this poem took hours to compose, or was written almost totally off the cuff, hardly matters. What does matter is that it is a highly expressive piece, with some superb poetic imagery! A true poem! Excellent!
The last verse in my belief is so much like You :>. this is brilliant and smart and You fooled us lol. we are the same, sometimes we throw words on pages, other times we spend hours and hours working on it, but as always what matter is the heart and the sincere emotions, nothing can fool that :> an amazing piece.
It amazes me, even though It shouldn't, that folk can spend days, weeks even writing and editing just one piece of poetry/pride when most if not all of my offerings are penned in the hour before I shoot off to work( perhaps this shows!)
Love the last 6 lines Jacob :))
Hope you are well

I am just a conduit for the words to find paper...I doubt I know where they come from.
Frank O'Hara wrote that way....getting into a zone.
I always had to write my school essays the same way...all at once, boom...or they never would make sense...so I am guilty of just throwing them on the parchment...maybe recklessly.
thank you, Gee,
j.
you have paper you have pencil. scribbles come; slash marks the NOs. word salad the main course!
been there we've all done that!
