anniversaryA Poem by jacob erin-cilberto. anniversary a moving van of secrets unpacked all at once am i to be the house in which they reside we talk of extremes of money for what we do out of love and somewhere along the line we fell out of love that kind anyway yet the stronger scent of us still lingers in slight touches, smiles glances full of what once was it is a many day move and then the old house is up for sale the old blankets and bed sheets and the bodies once touching find a new place to reside far away from each other yet so damn close we can still feel each other's breath. erin-cilberto 7/8/2022 © 2022 jacob erin-cilbertoReviews
