There's always that one in our past that we never quite can forget. The one that pops up in fantasies and dreams. I love the references to the sea in this one. Swim through those oceans of memory...they are often sweet. Lydi***

A wonderful poem shared Jacob. A sea goddess or mermaid. A blessing on a warm day near the sea.
"as at the thought of you
I am awash with a love
as intense as the most powerful"
I loved the strength of the above lines. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.

you can't stop writing her poetry can you Jacob??? I think many of us have had a love like this, maybe now a memory, but as sharp as the taste of her lips, the sway of her hips... and for some of us it is no memory but live and with memory swirling all around....
anyway, I for one am glad you still write poetry to/for her, as I get to read wonderful poetry and remember the love(r) who continues to haunt my mind and my pen.... her hair was red, her lips sweet and her touch made me blind as she opened my eyes.... so Jacob, more peorty please!!! ;0)
