for lynneA Poem by jacob erin-cilbertofor lynne
and life twists and turns while the clock is a cloak of mutual respect, and age finds its tick-tock trend continues,
and we salute another year but remember well the past ones that counted the moments in fervor from the cradle to the ladle a soup of sorts a wedding soup, a chicken noodle soup for the soul in sickness
flowers on the wall in her hair in the air the scent of bells the wailing against the war
the familiar sounds of children with birthdays and Mother's Days and just days of love,
and yet another turns the corner like a beloved car that has always understood new roads lie ahead, and old roads are the treasured memories that idle gracefully on this day.
