A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

delete love

in-box full,
out-box tired

flooded messages
usurp intrusively

my fingers calloused
heart as well

A heart has choices but chooses to make the same mistakes until enough is enough and age brings forth a heart that says I can’t be bothered.

thank you for your words, andrew,
j.
This is a sharp, mysterious write. I love it. It tells a whole story with very few words and I like that. Sometimes you need to tell a story that way. Life can just be so tiring and that’s what I get from this, this is a deeply relatable poem in every sense of the word. Over time the stress changed us. Thank you for sharing.

I don't believe the in-box is ever so full of love that it can not accept more. Your heart, my friend, could never be calloused! I like your short writes. They get the point across powerfully. Lydi**

You're very welcone!
When we have been bucked off a bull called love it is hard to get back on for another ride. That is when I say cowboy up.
