A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

delete love

in-box full,
out-box tired

flooded messages
usurp intrusively

my fingers calloused
heart as well

Dear J, this short poem speaks volumes. I am reminded of that song, love don't live here any more. I think exhaustion comes to mind here. Maybe the inbox needs a break to see if the heart, mind and fingers recover. You know that old expression absence makes the heart grow fonder? Switch off. Quite relatable writing here for readers.

Chris.
