Have read this several times dear J. Keep coming back to the lovely Diana and her betrayal. Right from the start his heart wasn't in it. Still he has Camilla now as Queen Consort.

If a tree falls in the forest...there's a princess who got the impression she wasn't good enough for anyone. That kind of venom is hard to extract if the shoes are old.

absolutely...geez, it's been so many years...good to see you again, my friend.

I get the impression the honeymoon is over in this one. Sounds as though the princess got linked with a prince that was something less than charming. He's bored with her already. It will probably be the same with his next three wives.

There are times when Life is not Picture Perfect and many suffer. Our World is full of Pretense. Unless we have walked in someone’s Shoes, we cannot understand. However, I do feel that mistakes are made and we need to pick up the pieces and Pray for a brighter day. You are very Brave… and we will do our best to survive in our World of entanglement. Remembering when Diana danced with John Travolta. Gently, Pat
This a sad picture perfect of Diana. Her marriage was shattered, her life was cut short, her dreams never fulfilled.
The whole world loved her. She will always be in our hearts.
Never liked Charles( the cheater) and his home-wrecker ugly mistress. Sorry to say that , but that is how I feel.
I love Diana's boys though.
Long live Diana in our hearts and minds.
This is amazing. This poem left me speechless with how much I loved it. Wow. Thank you so much for sharing, this is brilliant. The dark take on the fairytale, the way you wrote it. ‘A prince sleeps, oblivious.’ There’s something equally haunting and enthralling about this piece. Thank you for sharing.
seems a lot of us old dogs, are waxing rather pointedly at the moment. I am trying to put the final damning point on a couple of like minded pieces. Sleep deprived, hunting for that clean breaking line
