crisp colorful leaves, crisper, more colorful metaphors falling throughout the poem's dense foliage standing in orange and gold symbol we find the upright maples and oaks tall and bending in frozen wind and then it's over the white horizon is coming the chilblains disrupt the pen's grip find me when the thaw greets a spring gesture in welcoming smile i shall wave from across the clearing and we will write again. erin-cilberto 10/2/22 © 2022 jacob erin-cilbertoReviews
