On the day before Tuesday

On the day before Tuesday

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

On the day befor
e Tuesday

windows

glass cracked

and barren

soiled from years

of disuse

a heart

looking in

never out

sadness behind the pane

your love spliced the fission

years of derision

gone like smudges

Windexed out of a life

now I look through crystal clear

logic

and the outside

is most inviting.

What a difference a day makes. The day before you came comes to mind, an ABBA song. I do love them.

Also a little love goes along way. Can lift and grow in strength and can transform people and situations beyond recognition. That's why it is always worth waiting for.

A poem of hope you have penned beautifully here J.
