Splendor's Paradox

Splendor's Paradox

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

Splendor's Paradox

in the trash pit

alee

a shade of scent

perpetually

the old hobo's

final resting place

no coffin

just crows

to feast

on his soul

while his heart becomes

a winged creature

gathering data

on a God

who questions his own

intention...

So very sad. There is such loneliness in the world and to die alone is the saddest situation of all. A heartache of a poem J, and yet all too common.

dear Jacob… so many Hobo’s that travel on the Rio Grand … to try to find a better way… only to discover a Trail of Tears. God left a Map that had no-where to settle when Ill Winds have become a Nightmare. Gravely, Pat

Such a sadness in this
one especially as the holiday
season draws near..to be thankful
yet there are so many alone dying
not only of being alone but of
loneliness itself with a broken
spirit..well penned and conveyed

Religion was supposed to be a spiritual mine, not a gold mine. Religion was intended to be a moral compass, not a political rumpus. Religion was geared for the unseen, not for the Hollywood screen.
