I, in the sky

I, in the sky

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

I, in the sky

fifty shades of black
deepening ebony star
the sheen of my shine

Jacob, my friend,

A most mysteriously philosophical few lines that do seem but perfect in time's impact of perfect meaning ... I read this hours ago, and am still pondering upon each and every word ...

I don't know diddly s**t about form or style, never have, never will, never shall, simply because all that s**t is too far of technical for the human heart.

I read feelings upon page, nothing else of ever ...

To me, this poem is an ode to the most high. Ohrmazd. God. I and I. They see all. If they were to come in human form I believe they would be endlessly black and beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you kindly, Stella,

Your line "fifty shades of black" makes me think about sitting in my Adirondack chair in the evening and watching the sky turn different shades and seeing the planet Venus.

Pie in the sky - that’s where I went

This is hopelessly good J. Fifty shades of black.

You shine for so many and brilliantly so.
