A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

poem

Ashes to dust and such
a rhythmic burning
left brain, right heart
yearning
resting

           on
the scattered you

Yes Jacob left brain in this poetically written piece where words require that side. Right heart for without it you could not have felt it to write it. A very nice poem that leaves the mind yearning.

Excellent word play here J. Such brevity which speaks volumes about the complexities of relationships.

the scattered you

What an ending! Great metaphor .

"Ashes to dust and such" ... especially like that opening line big j. "left brain, right heart" clever word play if ever there were .. "poem" .. simply put and so complex we are .. makes me ponder all the more sir .. wishing you well always and thanks for sharing your stuff .. right here at the Cafe'
