Things that are unfortunately happening on this site

There is no fiction here. There is overwhelming evidence of a scam. How could any person who calls himself or herself a poet intentionally take advantage of another.

We are here to share poetry and stories and support each other, not make money off each other.

Shame on you, Tony. Own up. Refund the money and please take your presence somewhere else.

Divya trusted you. When folks try to pull these scams, it not only breaks trust, it makes it hard to trust in future, even when the the other person is sincere. 

I support Divya 100% in this situation. Tony opened up the wound by posting in public what should have been a private matter, and it appears that was just to cover his own indiscretion.

What Divya has posted is proof that he received her money...there can be no denying what occured.

I am sorry to see this black mark on the cafe...But it is a Good Site, with so many good people, and excellent writers, who are here for the right reasons.

This is shocking. It just shows what some people will stoop to to steal from others. I have to say the site itself is not 'policed' and if it were then people like this guy could not operate for long. Over the years there have been some nasty trolls operating at will. The site does not respond to complaints and they are semingly fre to roam around the cafe. Several writers have had their pages copied (cloned) and as a result have been misrepresented and villified because of nasty posts put up on thses false pages. Despite it being simple to spot thse pages they still cause mayhem. The site has allowed many to enjoy the cafe but it also alows destruction and pain. Divya is a treasure and she does not desrve to be treated like this. I have to say her fightback is amazing and she is one fiesty poet! Go get him Divya!

Completely innocent old friend, as has now been proven. The error was with Divya's Bank in India. Just so you and other people know, my conduct in this unfortunate matter has been completely blameless.

I'm glad to see this post because wow! I'm getting several messages (all the same) from different users soliciting their artwork for one of my poems. It made me wonder if this was a safe place to publish my poetry. I'm hoping the best for your friend.

Generally, I do feel it is a safe place. But even now, two years later, the solicitations are worse (the artwork thing), there are two many ads and we do not have monitors to rid the site of these blemishes. Divya got through that mess just fine. She is tough and too good of a poet to be shut down by the likes of that person who did this to her.

I'm just finding this out now. I'm sorry Divya had to be taken advantage of, but as we know, this site is unsafe and vulnerable to trolls or anyone else with nafarious deeds in mind. The owner simply doesn't care. If I know I'm not going to be on for a while I close my account knowing someone can rob anything of mine they want. I can't even close it. I also had trouble posting. When I'm here, I only read now.
