A very poignant Senryu, dear Jacob. Beautifully expressed how a big dark cloud hanging over somebody produced just one teardrop and a tiny puddle. A very emotive sketch which, for me, it portrays sadness. Lovely work, Jacob. Thank you for sharing...

Lovely brevity Jacob. I immediately thought of Kate Bush’s song and video Cloudbusting, a favourite song of hers and the video starred the late Donald Sutherland. All about making some rain after reading this smart piece.

We could use a few more relevant clouds here. It's like a brick oven furnace outside. I have to stay inside so I can breathe. A nice little drop of rain or two would be appreciated. I like your poem.

Yes, my sister has told me it is really hot in Deep Gap where she is....days to stay inside...even the dog can't tolerate it.

I will go back in spring and teach a class or two...
I am missing it already....but am dealing with recovering from foot surgery so the timing is good...I can get over this little imposition.
