of enemies within

of retribution

 

Satan smiles 

fire dancing in his eyes

has us right where he wants us

tiptoeing atop the flames

 

ready to ash ourselves

into a deep sleep

from which a nightmare

world will wake

 

and we will rest in an urn

of regret

wishing we had solved

the equation adding 

 

love and peace

as more than imaginary

Is Gallup a "make believe" poll? I thought they were the gold standard. I remember when Trump won their Most Admired Man in America in 2020; beating out Barrack Obama who formerly held that honor. Donald hasn't changed at all since his interview on Oprah or his guest appearances on Fresh Prince of Bel Air and The Jeffersons...older but still the same Donald. I'm amazed how everyone is suddenly terrified of him, the familiar New Yorker we all watched on TV for years. It's laughable.

it has been a long 10 years
of course the path i chose was difficult from the beginning
i don't see relief anytime soon as the gates of vitriol are open
there are so many things happening most are ready for the election to be over
but it will not
some still arguing about 2020

i expect many will die not free
it cost more to be free than to be enslaved

my advice ... stand strong expect the worst live with the better

You know, call me old fashioned, but I reckon this might be about a rather imminent hot topic in today's good old U S of A!
But honestly, I have no idea Jacob who I'd going to be top of the charts next week, but I would bet it very might be Taylor Swift!
It goes without saying that smiling Satan is Marily Manson and could only be deemed as fake news if it turned out to be some other Trumpet!
At best, I'd put an each way bet on it being Sabrina Carpenter, but only because I read about her once and remembered her name!
I'm just glad this wasn't political, because I flunked politics.... just like Trump! 😃
