haiku #322  haiku #323

the damaged woods sing
a cardinal in the wind
tunes a raucous note

a vicious attack
clouds burst into angry tears
non-forgiving sky

Wooww! These Haikus are so creative. You write so well. I love "clouds burst into angry tears" and "the damaged woods sing." I'm all about metaphors and these metaphors are so creatively written.

Love these haikus!! 🤗🤗🤗

Nooo waayy thinking in metaphors, soooo coool!!! 🤗🤗🤗welcome!!🤗🤗🤗
These are vivid and powerful. The image of the cardinal singing through damage is hauntingly beautiful, and the stormy sky feels intense and unforgiving—full of emotion and force.

Thank you.

Sad visually but also hard on the ear. The references to nature hurt. So much going on here j. Plenty to contemplate and feel.

Your juxtapositions are excellent, Jacob.
Made me picture many different meanings for each haiku. Well played.
