I'm with Kelly, Jacob, you are "fragile genius". Your "granules" sparkle with meaning, and hell, wasn't it just yesterday you were born??!!!

I feel this one Jacob.
Speaking as a not young enough to die young but not quite old enough to die of natural causes person who got injured yesterday by leaning on a table (I still have the elbow scar today!) I totally feel where this is coming from.
I always thought growing pains where a thing to describe youth to adulthood, but now I know for sure they are and should be called growing old pains.
I mean, how on earth can a draft from an open window cause an injury that feels like it needs reconstructive neck surgery?
Now if you'll excuse me I must go stare blankly at my not writing journal while tapping a pen against it before giving up and launching said pen through the air!

The poet is describing the fragile bones or the state of weaking his skeleton through many reasons; at least his morals and values make up his backbone.

Thanks, Sami...I am getting old.

I like it. I see the "density" getting less each time I have to run to the dictionary again, to make sure I know a word I thought I'd always known. ~Jim
I think its the reverse. The poetic bones only got stronger with each day. But how beautifully you created this metaphor. The bones have such a story of life to tell. This is called beyond awesome poetry!
