Just to let you all know

Just to let you all know. I appreciate the new reviews and have loved the time I spent here since 2008.

But these past few weeks, we lost WC...and it was far too long for me.

I found another site along with many others from here. Starsrite has monitors, no drama, just poetry and good interaction.

I can only afford the time to be on one site....I will miss many of you who don't come over to Starsrite.

But I hope most you will try it out.

This was my poetry home for so many years and with all the glitches this past year, I stuck it out hoping 

things with get back to normal...but my patience ran out.

I am frustrated too over the site going down and this week I’m backing most of my work up on word so will take me a long time as I’ve never bothered before ! I guess I will flit between both like a butterfly for the time being, Change doesn’t come easy for me. This place though will always echo with your poetry spirit. Hi Jacob I'm sorry you are leaving and will miss you. I do understand your frustration as I was unable to even post a poem. Another site is hello poetry or HP you could check out. I have never heard of Starsrite but I will check it out. Always keep your words flowing ;-]

Hi willow....I have another post that is the link to starsrite. Many of us from here have migrated there.
It is a really nice site...like anything, takes a little getting used to, but it is moderated, has a nice look to it...and so far others from here who have gone there seem pretty happy with it.
Fia, the owner, is around all the time and posts herself and comments on others. Both Chrises from here are there, Richard, Stella, Kelly, Neville, Einstein, and others...I hope to see you there.

Been here and been there and like others - no authentication email. But I did look beyond that glitch. StarsRite seems an incomplete site - even their "Contact" link has an unusable code glitch so you can't even TELL anyone there that there is a problem. I did explore the site (as I could) and was interested enough to experience the "Login" glitch multiple times. I will try again - but as with here, too many glitches destroys the goodwill of 11+ years of membership.

Hi Jacob. Same story as the others mentioned, no confirmation email here either.
To be honest it's the people I'll miss but like yourself and so many more wc has had its last chance from me and there's so much that I won't miss about it.
I'm not too fussed about going back to manual writing, as in off-line but there's been a lot of connections over the years that I will miss and will hopefully one day find this site running glitch and troll free. I will not be holding my breath waiting for that to happen though.
