A Vest of Many ColorsA Poem by jacob erin-cilbertoA
Vest of Many Colors floppy
hat eyes
just a bit off center enamel
smile talent
filling slightly crazy shoes tears
emoted fears
trapped in those tears she
was our lives she
was our insecurities she
was our amazement on
the screen we
say her humanness harnessed
in her roles we
were lucky to be current with her we
knew something's gotta give and
finally it did the
grim reaper lassoed the actress and
we reaped from her insecurities Annie
Hall, we love you rest
your head on our shoulders the
poets will hold you up. erin-cilberto 10/14/25 © 2025 jacob erin-cilbertoReviews
