Poemfall

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

Poemfall

I see white

spreading on the ground

a refrain

distributed

like a line of cocaine

refreshing flurries

a sniff of albino air

I get high on nature

it's safer.

That word should be in the dictionary of obscure sorrow, which i would highly recommend to all poets. Its about how emotions are felt rather than spoken, so the author - John Koenig decided to give those feelings names, so your poemfall could read...
POEMFALL - The feeling of joy felt when you realise after a moment of anger how beautiful and poetic snowdrops look. 😆

I was about to think, "wow, you really get down," before I quickly realized what's going on. Just shows how good a writer you are. :)

Comparing snow to coke, and the phrase "albino air" are genius.

I am a blue collar poet...just keep at it. And I appreciate your kind words, Laz.

Nothing like the first "line" of snow each year to remind us that nature's high is the best high. ~Jim

You're very welcome.
albino air is not a term I've ever heard associated with miss cocaine, but it works
