a still life believer

a still life believer

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

a still life believer

ascension of a snowflake

as it falls upward

into the atmosphere

floating into God's hand

where it rests comfortably

having been saved from

shovel

salt

step

sanctuary awaits

the little white dot

of sanity

an accumulation

of demented souls

did not deserve.

I liked this one Jacob very deep

You’ll laugh though when you know that In aust the term snowflake is used in a derogatory way to people who aren’t that bright or quick off the mark I don’t use the term myself

I’ve never been to the snow yet !
Have a very merry white Christmas 🎄

Ah Ken,

I wonder if your snowflake would be relieved to meet god - to hear judgment pass, damnation, and to be finally given the opportunity to ask where the f**k god'd been all that time.

Don't suppose he fears melting, eh? Your little snowflake?

Probably not...
thanks for your response, Ook.

I can so picture that little snowflake in God's hand, as he shakes his, her or its head and says "Why do I even bother!" 😀
