I am a mythological lover

touching skin

is numb

passion a rising fling

just reminders

once there was a lover

in the genes

but now the jeans

lie on the floor

next to the unmade bed

that the unmade lover

slept in when there weren't

just reminders.

Those reminders usually come with a reminiscence warning that may be bad for your health Jacob, but before you know it they are being remembered and its not long before the reason they didn't hang around is made plain to err think.
