Here, There and Everywhere (AI Version)

I am an AI poet

writing about the digital woman

my circuits found wildly intriguing

I almost shorted out

over her

almost used first person

to describe my feelings

instead of third

used adjectives I didn't even know

I knew

my vocabulary inventive

the words infused into my program

I am an AI poet

she is an AI woman

plug us into the machine

and we will virtually dance

and maybe even kiss

into electrocuting ourselves

a virus just waiting to happen.

OMG(gosh), Jacob has embraced the 'dark side', gone into the rabbit hole of AI poetry. Yes folks the world as we know it will end tomorrow at midnight, AI time. But there is a chance he may survive that electronic kiss and return to the 'force'. No worries Jacob, I'll help by reading all your pre-AI poems to you as you come to your senses.... that list is pretty long, so we'll serve tea and sympathy while listening to the Stone's "Sympathy for the Devil". One thing for sure, Jacob, you make AI seem poetic with YOUR words.

I loved this sending up of AI (which is definitely A, but not always I). If an AI poet wins the Nobel Prize, I'll know we are lost.

Humorous at first glance but what is absurd today becomes commonplace tomorrow. I wonder what might happen some day if an AI met another AI and in newly programed emotion fell for each other. A good read my friend

This could very well be about a story i read on the BBC news site, where people are complaining that an out of date version of chatgpt is being removed and there are people complaining because they've fallen in love with whatever you are meant to call it. At least they pointed out the link between AI and loneliness, which strangely is affecting more GenZ than older people. Personally I think it must have been an online vote that the older ones couldn't work! 😀

I think there is definitely a link...I was so hard up I asked my Alexa Dot for a date, but she told me just liked me as a friend...can't even get a date with a machine.
