a Monday Hush

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

a Monday Hush

Listen to the sound of contentment

it is a still-life vision

love in a vase of subtle bloom

quietly extending its petals

towards the heart

that has a green thumb.

This is neat.

So delicate, so unique.

I enjoy the gentle flow of this short piece.

It’s clever and well-crafted.

You use words as if a magic potion, sir. Your few words have gently sky-rocketed the planet's troubles into the long ago far, far away future! Many thanks for caring enough to share far more, Jacob.

'Listen to the sound of contentment: Sighhhhhh.

With your green thumb, I had an inkling you might like this one, Chris.
thank you...
I saw a Tulip peeking out of the ground yesterday. A "subtle reminder that Spring is not too far away, and then WHAM, it is now covered in snow that started this afternoon and will continue until tomorrow night. Hopefully, your "green thumb heart" will last a lot longer than my little Tulip.

Thanks for your sound of contentment, Jacob.
