Sadness

Is not a wound

that needs healing.

Sadness is the stitches

that tie you back together:
Painful

when the needle pierces your skin,

but necessary

to make you whole again.

This is such a positive, strong outlook on sorrow. Yes, in order to grow we must endure hardships, and no one likes them. In the end, though, the satisfaction of wisdom is well worth the pain. Wonderful job!
