To a Friend Across The Ocean

This is written for my friends who live exactly halfway around the world from where I am now.

I miss you:

With the depth of the ocean between us,

With the vastness of the grey blue sky,

With the height of the tallest mountain.

 

I miss you:

So much that sometimes,

Almost always,

It hurts to breathe.

 

I miss you:

When I think about comfort.

When I think about the way

Life aught to be,

Was.

 

With all that is between us,

With aching in my chest,

With all I have inside of me,

I miss you.

This needs TONS of work, I know. Please assist. I have't done anything to it yet.
This is just up here so that one of my best friends in the entire world (Literally) can see this and know just how much I miss her.
