Crazy Love

Night falls helplessly,

as we lay under sheets of white satin.

Emerald eyes gaze into mine,

It’s like being struck

by a runaway train.

If this is insanity

I’ll stay here forever.

Forever and ever,

crazy in love with you.

Brief but utterly meaningful! 'Night falls helplessly, as we lay under sheets of white satin. ' those words alone create a sultry atmosphere, and the remainder of your poem is a glorious shadow following in their wake. Wonderful!
